Welcome to HotelGuide.Networks' directory of hotels and hotel reviews for Cape Cod, Massachusetts!
Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket Island extend out from southeastern Massachusetts into the Atlantic Ocean. Together they comprise one of the most popular vacation destinations in the country, and the waters surrounding them keep the climate temperate all year round. The most populated and developed of the three islands, especially during the summer months, Cape Cod offers visitors a wide range of natural sights and wonders, an ever changing climate that nonetheless stays within tolerable extremes, some of the best fresh seafood dining in the country, and all of the civilized comforts of home. The extensive network of steamers and ferries keeps the three islands connected and adds to the scenic magic of traveling between them and the mainland. The variety of beaches which surround vast expanses of farmland gives Martha’s Vineyard a special isolation from the rest of the world. Home to the Wampanoag Tribe of Native Americans, Martha’s Vineyard also has been a popular home base for sea captains, famous politicians and other celebrities for generations. The original lampposts, quaint cottages and docks of Nantucket Island that inspired the writing of Herman Melville are remarkably preserved from the 1600s. This former whaling port and National Historic District now supports a thriving fishing industry and center for sailing, surfcasting, deep sea fishing and many other water activities.
